  Having only vaguely searched for a local eatery The White Swan was a pleasant surprise to walk in to; fantastic food, lovely warm service and we will definitely be coming back for more.

  The quality of the food and the service is absolutely superb, but bear in mind that this is a gourmet restaurant, so you'll come away knowing that you've had something of the highest standard, though you won't come away feeling stuffed.
  I had the duck starter, then venison, both of which were exceptional. Others in the party also thoroughly enjoyed their meals, but with a price tag of over £130 for a 3-course lunch for 4, including drinks (superb Timothy Taylor's beer), it wasn't cheap!
  This is somewhere to visit for a very special occasion, but you'll have to save up first!
